Department of Ecology integrates InfoCentre
Washington State Department of Ecology Lacey office selects McKinstry/essention’s InfoCentre Web-based facility management solution
SEATTLE,
WA (July 1, 2003) – McKinstry/essention, Inc., a Seattle-based application service provider of property and facility management solutions, and the Washington State Department of Ecology , today announced roll-out of McKinstry/essention’s Web-based facility management solution, called InfoCentre, for the Department of Ecology office building in Lacey, Wash.
Department of Ecology is using InfoCentre to manage all workflow as it relates to areas such as employee facilities requests, vendor management, and preventative maintenance. InfoCentre also manages the Department of Ecology Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) tool, allowing smooth data transition as employee moves number from 300 to 800 each year.
With InfoCentre, Department of Ecology employees use a Web-based interface to initiate and follow through with service request workflow management, preventative maintenance and employee communication. The technology component of InfoCentre is integrated with a 24x7 service desk, so an industry-trained customer service representative tracks every issue reported through InfoCentre to ensure reliable, expedient, and proper handling of all requests.
